SCHOOL BASED YOGA, PD WORKSHOPS AND TEACHER WELLNESS PROGRAMS
Yoga and relaxation classes are an invaluable tool in our schools. Children experience and deal with stress very differently than adults do. As adults we have coping mechanisms to help us deal with and recognize our stress.
Working yoga and relaxation into the school curriculum as a tool for coping with stress can have many benefits for our youth. Some of the benefits are as simple as a boost in happiness, focus and self-confidence, improve test scores, reduced stress and anxiety, and an awareness of being mindful. Each child is unique and can take from the class what they need at that point in the day, season, or school year. Classes can be tailored to your student, class or school needs.

A yoga class designed for kids to play, discover and explore yoga! Yogis will play creative yoga style games, experience how reading comes alive with yoga, complete a yoga obstacle course, and complete a simple art project related to yogic themes such as peace, acceptance, love, honesty, contentment, gratitude and affirmations! Finally, we will wind down with a guided relaxation, breath work, and blissful savasana (rest).
NOW OFFERING PRIVATE CLASSES
Our Private Yoga Sessions are an excellent way to achieve the benefits of yoga and track your individual progress while receiving more hands on attention.
Private yoga classes are ideal for those who are brand new to yoga, and a little intimidated by the idea of a group class experience. They can also benefit those who want to focus and deepen in a particular area of practice, have specific questions about their yoga practice and want to unpack and wish to receive further guidance on how to take their practice to the next level. People who have a physical limitation or are rehabilitating an injury will also benefit from one or more sessions to learn key actions and strategies to stabilize and strengthen vulnerable parts of the body while gaining access to mobility in others. These sessions meet you exactly where you are at.
Each session is designed specifically for you, and will focus on exercises for your body type, taking into consideration your fitness level, health concerns, stress level, and your personal health and goals. You choose the day and time of your sessions.
We can tailor your classes in accordance to your needs; perhaps you want to practice yoga to relax and restore your mind and body after a long day at work or you’d like to tone your body and sweat a little to feel invigorated.
CORPORATE OR CUSTOM CLASSES UPON REQUEST
Should you desire partner classes, custom class for your organization, or a smaller group with friends, private specialized classes are available upon request. We can work to find a space, group, time that works for you. Yoga classes can be intimidating at first and I welcome the opportunity to work with anyone who is unsure about taking a yoga class. That is the great thing about yoga, you can start anytime at any age, anywhere!
Ashtanga Inspired Flow Class – This class will cover basic yoga postures from the Ashtanga Primary series, linked with breath and end with a relaxation, keeping an eye on your alignment every step of the way. This flow class keeps a good pace, generating internal heat while staying focused on developing an authentic, safe and comfortable practice. You don’t need to be able to touch your toes; you just have to be willing to try. Designed for yogis of all levels. Contact me for details.
We are all unique. We are all beautiful. This class is full of beautiful smiles, contagious laughter, and fun yoga that is aimed at empowering girls to live a kind, mindful, authentic, life. We start this class open aware that our thoughts are powerful and can become positive words and actions leading too change in our schools, communities and globally.
Through yoga, mindfulness, meditation and open discussions I encourage kindness over criticism, love over judgement, forgiveness over anger, courage over fear, and acceptance over comparison.
We celebrate our uniqueness and build each other up with positive affirmations, self-talk, group discussions and awesome yoga. I truly feel we fill each others cup each time we meet and that all these amazing ladies leave knowing confidence is the best and most beautiful thing you can wear.

SPORT POWER YOGA
Maintain form and function during the season and off season. Maybe your kids are looking for a faster paced style of yoga that increases stamina, strength, flexibility and gives them a full body workout with safe stretching.
In the yoga for sports class I teach about the physical benefits of yoga asanas (poses/postures) that focus on the main muscle groups and basic anatomy used during sports. I also introduce athletes to tools they can use to find balance mentally and emotionally with pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation. So if you’re a hockey player, soccer player or participate in another sport, we cover some of the essential yoga benefits to stay healthy and better your game.
